Hello Everyone!

How are you all? Hard at work, either at home or in the office? Or have you found some free time to relax and enjoy the moment? Perhaps you’re looking forward to a holiday with us or perhaps you’re perusing this website because you’d like to have a holiday and have heard about us, or we’ve even been recommended to you. Let me try to convince you that a break with us would be a great idea.

We have eighteen assorted rooms right beside the beach. All are cleaned daily, have tv, dvd, safe, dressing gowns, towels, hairdryer, adaptors, laundry facilities and a stunning view of the sea and outlying islands. Breakfast is 7.30am-11.00am, so you can enjoy a lie in, and is cooked to order. We serve food
all day from a varied menu, but urge you to partake of the wonderful food on offer in the village during the evening. Our village mainly runs parallel to the sea and has many fantastic restaurants, bars and boutiques both sides of the street which itself is only a gentle saunter from our little hotel. So, you can relax all day on the beach, in or around our gorgeous saline pool or in the gardens and then take your exercise in the evening by searching out the restaurant and/or bar for you. We can help you with that, if you wish, but we’re always interested to hear about your own discoveries so we can pass these onto other guests too.

We also have wonderful guests and many of them return again and again. In fact, lots who’ve already stayed this year are returning again next year and, because they wanted to be sure of a room, paid a deposit or even the whole amount before they left!

We also have superb staff. They don’t ever seem to leave. We still have the same four we started with thirteen years ago and the rest have also been with us for years. We’re very proud of our staff. They’re actually like family. They also love to see guests coming back and the guests love seeing them too.

This year, guests Paul & Jan, who usually visit twice a year, didn’t book. We were a little worried, to be honest. However, we knew that Paul had retired last year because they came out straightaway and, as usual, had really enjoyed themselves. Paul was going to try to convince Jan that she should retire too. We all wondered whether he would manage it. And manage it, he has. Jan is retiring at the end of this term. To celebrate, they’re coming out to stay for the month of September. I can’t wait to see them and find out all the news.

Rosie & Steve didn’t arrive this year either. Steve had a big problem with his hand, so wasn’t able to travel. Thankfully, Rosie tells me that it’s much better now. Last year, whilst on holiday here, Steve was having a big problem with his ear, but thought he’d wait until he returned home to the UK to see the doctor. What a shame he waited! It transpired that one of the ends of his earphones, known as a bud, I believe, had lodged in his ear on the aircraft over to Thailand. It must have been so uncomfortable and painful. I can see him now, walking around the garden or lying on the beach, frantically rubbing his ear. Poor Steve! Robin had a similar experience years ago. A moth was flying around him. Wings open, wings shut. Wings open, wings shut. Whilst they were shut, the moth flew into his ear. He returned home from holiday, also by aircraft, suffering the whole way. The moth had to be drowned. Robin was never the same again . . . .

The above two couples are really lovely people. They’re all coming to stay in September which is usually a lovely month. Not too hot, not too busy, just right. And it’s one of the months during which we’re offering a 15% reduction so why not join them? Or, if you’re coming back next year and can’t wait, why not slip in another visit?

All you need to do is to send your prospective dates in an e-
mail to Robin on robin@thewaterfrontbophut.com or complete the bookings form on the website and Robin will write straight back with our availability and would be more than happy to help with any queries or worries that you may have. You could be booked in without delay, but don’t forget that there may be a time difference and we can’t answer in the middle of the night although we have been quite late at times! When you arrive at the airport, you will be met, free of charge, and taken on a little sortie of the village before being checked into the hotel with an agreeable alcoholic beverage. When you leave, you will also be taken to the airport, free of charge and who knows? You may decide to come back and see us again.

There’s a Friday Walking Street in our little village which is the most popular walking street on the island. There are lots of really fantastic restaurants, many of which are featured on Trip Advisor. There are also many activities from paragliding to deep sea diving, yoga to cookery, the list is endless. You could even hire a car and drive around the island or hire a driver to take you. Or just relax at the hotel and enjoy our wonderful view.

You know what they say. Just do it. And why not? We’d love to see you!

Until the next time, take very good care of yourselves.

Best wishes
