“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” – Jawaharial Nehru

The last fortnight has flown by. Actually, to be honest, my life has flown by, hasn’t yours? And, on reflection, don’t you think that we become blinkered and spend far too much time worrying about trivialities, thus forgetting to really enjoy this wonderful life? None of us know how long we have left, so shouldn’t we really throw caution to the wind and make more time for ourselves? Make it a priority? Top of the list? I’ll leave those answers to you.

No doubt you’ve come onto this site because, somewhere in your mind, you’re thinking that maybe, when the time is right, you’ll come out to stay sometime. But seriously, why wait? Why not start putting the wheels in motion now? Be spontaneous! Seize the day!

We’re not a huge, impersonal 5-star. We’re a boutique hotel with eighteen rooms right beside the beach with breathtaking views of the sea and outlying islands. You’re not a number here. You’re a very welcome guest who will no doubt become a friend and we’ve made lots of those over our twelve years here. Many come back again and again, even booking for the next year before they leave. You could deduce that these people are not your type at all, that they couldn’t be very adventurous or in the least bit interesting – how could they possibly be if they return to the same place time after time when there’s a whole world out there waiting to be discovered? The answer to that is simple. Most of the time, these fantastic people are very well travelled and are some of the nicest and most interesting you will ever meet. It’s just that they have found another home, they say, thousands of miles away from their own, (‘like an old, favourite shoe’ Glyn explained one day), where they can laugh, relax and be themselves in a beautiful and caring environment. They would be the first to agree that there are lots of wonderful places, but that there is something special about this one. They’ve also said that, if we could bottle this so called special essence, we would make a fortune. We’re deeply touched by their kindness, but realistically why would we want a fortune anyway? To enable us to live in paradise? We’re there already . . . and you could be too as soon as you take the first step.

Just send your prospective dates to Robin on robin@thewaterfrontbophut.com or complete the form on our website bookings page. ask a doctor free . If you have any queries at all, he or I will be more than happy to answer them. We’ve had lots of enquiries and bookings, but we’ll do our best to fit you in, in fact it will be our pleasure.

Come and see us soon and, don’t forget, Carpe Diem!

Very best wishes
