2 August 2016
And a very happy August to you! How’s it all going? Enjoying the sunshine?
Perhaps you’re not enjoying any sunshine or perhaps you’re not bothered about it, but are in dire need of some relaxation or at least a change of scene. Well, whatever your circumstances, we have just the place for you. A small hotel with eighteen rooms right beside the sea with stunning views of the outlying islands and smiling staff to cater for your needs, where you’re not just a number, but a valued guest whom we hope will enjoy the visit so much that, like many of our guests, you’ll want to come back to see us again.
All our accommodation is shown on our website, www.thewaterfrontbophut.com, and there is lots of other information on there too, plus a bookings form which you can complete, of course, or write with your prospective dates to my husband, Robin, on firstname.lastname@example.org and he’ll reply without delay with our availability.
We’ve had our little hotel for thirteen years on 7 August. We came out here to live the dream in 2003 and the whole hotel experience has been more than we could have even wished for. We built up the business from zero and the property from nine small, basic rooms to that which we have now. We also built a new, larger saline pool a couple of years ago which has been a great success. We even have our four original staff which is fantastic. The rest of our team has also been with us for years and they all get especially excited when guests return because it shows that the work they’ve put in has been appreciated. They also love to laugh and joke and any repartee with guests is extremely enjoyable for them, so they look forward to that too. Many of our guests love to pull their leg, you see, and we often hear peals of laughter which all contributes to a great working and holiday environment. We’ve met some fantastic people of all ages actually, from all walks of life and from all countries. It has been very, very interesting. We’ve made lots of friends too, in fact our guests become friends in no time at all. We also try to go that little bit further to ensure that they enjoy the sorts of things we’d enjoy on holiday and do the best we can to leave out anything remotely irksome. Of course, we can’t guarantee 100% perfection, but many guests say that it’s as close as you can get and that’s a pretty good recommendation!
If you’re thinking of coming between 1 September and 21 December, we’re offering a 15% discount for stays during that time which is our low season. September especially is generally a lovely month with beautiful weather, not too hot, and there are less holidaymakers on the island too, so really relaxing. Give it some thought. You could be booked in no time at all. A real boost to the metabolism! There could be some rain during the other months, (should be over by Christmas), but one thing’s for sure, it won’t be cold and there’s still lots of sunshine, in fact we find that rain clears the air and is often a welcome relief!
Lots of guests coming back again next high season, even too many to mention here, (aren’t we lucky?), and we look forward to seeing them all. The Waterfront has so enjoyed its thirteen years and looks forward to the next. We reach out to you all with a big thank you for being guests, return guests and prospective guests. May you enjoy your stay here, whenever that may be, and we hope that you always wish to come back.
Until the next time, take very good care of yourselves.
