Hello and a Happy New Year to you all!
I do hope that you all had a very good Christmas and enjoyed some good celebrations at New Year. The fireworks in both Sydney and London were impressive, weren’t they? They were pretty good on Samui too and lots of people turned out onto the beach to watch them. Chinese lanterns were magically wafting across the sky, as usual, and there was much singing, dancing and clinking of glasses. We hadn’t arranged a party at the hotel at Christmas or New Year as all the guests had made their own arrangements, but they gave us a complete rundown of their festivities and I am so glad to report that all of them had a really great time.
We’ve had lots of rebooking for next Christmas and lots of bookings from both return and new guests for other times of the year. I am so looking forward to seeing each and every one of them and, hopefully, one day it will be you. If you’ve stayed before, you will know the facilities we have on offer. If you have not, our relatively new website will give you a pretty good flavour of the hotel which has eighteen rooms right next to the beach and stunning views of the sea and outlying islands. It also has a great pool, bar and restaurant and is only a saunter away from other excellent bars, restaurants and boutiques in our charming village of Bophut, otherwise known as Fisherman’s Village.
If you are thinking of coming to stay, just send Robin an e-mail on firstname.lastname@example.org or completing the bookings form on our website, and he’ll write straight back with our availability. If you have any queries or worries, he’ll be pleased to put your mind at ease too.
Meanwhile, let us hope that 2015 will bring peace, health and happiness to the many corners of the world suffering now and if we can put our own positive stamp in the mix, albeit it a tiny one even in our own home or at work perhaps, let us try so that the ripple may grow and ultimately make a difference.
Take very good care of yourselves.
